About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco (2006). I have been providing therapy to individuals, adolescents, couples, and families since 2004.

My clinical background includes work in nonprofit organizations, Kaiser Hospitals, and private practice, where I have been practicing since 2009. Prior to becoming an LMFT, I developed and taught assault and abuse prevention programs for K–12 students and worked as a behavioral therapist with children on the Autism Spectrum.

I specialize in trauma-informed, body-based therapies and draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

When I’m not guiding clients through healing, I love spending time in nature—especially hiking along rivers, where the pace is slower and people are friendly. I share my home with my two cats Maureen and Stella, we are experiencing middle age together. Simple joys—nature, animals, food, and connection—keep me grounded and remind me of the resilience and wonder in everyday life.
